Start with the artist credit
Official Charts lists the recording as “Raindance” by Dave/Tems and reports its UK Number 1 achievement. These are artist and recording credits, not an AI-song announcement. There is no basis in those credits for treating the song as an anonymous, AI-generated track. They also do not establish every tool used during the entire production process.
AI on the screen is a different claim
A post can combine an existing song with newly generated images, a replaced face or a reconstructed scene. The AI disclosure applies to what was altered. It does not automatically transfer to every layer of the post. If you want to identify the recording, read the sound attribution and compare it with the artist’s official release.
What RainDanceAI makes
RainDanceAI at ai-raindance.com creates short visual edits from a selected template and one or two authorized adult photos. You choose a 3–10 second range and a replacement mode; the reference guides the new performance. The service does not generate a new Dave or Tems recording, clone their voices or deliver the original commercial track. Your generated MP4 is silent.
Keep the sound and permissions separate
Downloading a video does not give you rights to a song. When you publish, use a soundtrack available for your account and purpose or music you have permission to use. Availability can differ between personal and business accounts, regions and platforms. Naming the artists explains the reference; it does not replace permission to use their work.
Why disclose the video edit?
A realistic AI performance can show a person doing something they never filmed. TikTok’s guidance requires labels for realistic AI-generated images, audio and video; Meta also explains labels for generated or manipulated content. Make the edit clear to viewers and avoid implying that the depicted person, artists or platform endorsed it. RainDanceAI is an independent service.
